Momentum is a reproducing church...with that being said, we are setting into our DNA now as a brand new church that we are going to help give birth to new churches locally, nationally, and globally.

Just before Jesus ascended into Heaven, he said these words:
“When the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to every end of the Earth.” Acts 1:8
When a person is leaving their loved ones, their last words are typically what is most important to them…”I love you,” “I’m sorry,” “take care of one another.” And with Jesus, it was no different. With His last words, he says, “GO.” Go, spread the good news to every nation.
And that’s exactly what happened: Jerusalem planted in Antioch, Antioch planted in Macedonia, Macedonia had 2 locations. The momentum went on and on and here we are today, part of that same movement, all the way over on the other side of the world in the USA. Church planting is how the Kingdom of God advances, so that’s what we are focusing on and investing in. We believe the vision God has given Momentum is to be a reproducing church that plants in communities all over San Diego County. We also are going to be involved and support both domestic and international church plants outside of San Diego.
We want to plant churches that truly believe that by loving God and loving people, whole communities can be transformed and the Kingdom advanced!
Nearly 2,000 years ago God set in motion the church as His vehicle to reach the world. We just want to keep the momentum going.
