Kids' City
Kids' City exists to be a catalyst for building and strengthening families throughout our community.
At Momentum Christian Church, we place a high value on helping families grow closer to one another and to God. Kids' City is one of our primary venues for kids and parents to grow and develop. We don’t want Kids' City to be a place where parents drop their kids off and hope for the best. We want Kids' City to be a place where kids learn the basics of what it means to “love God and love people” and then have meaningful conversation with their parents.
Our Kids' City team values three things very highly:
PARTNERING WITH PARENTS
At Kids' City we understand that we are not the primary shapers of faith in kids’ lives, it is the parents. Therefore, we desire to come alongside parents and help open up spiritual dialogue with their kids throughout the week. We will provide resources and opportunities for parent-kid relationships to grow.
COMMUNITY
We feel it is important for kids to learn in a small group setting with a consistent leader and group. It is our desire for the kids to build healthy relationships with the other kids and with their small group leader so that intimate learning may take place.
SERVICE
Kids' City will be a place where our kids are alive and active in the church. We want Kids' City to be a place where they learn Biblical principles and have a chance to live them out. Kids will have opportunities to serve in the church on a regular basis.
